Stepping Stones Twice a year, the
Garden Club of Honolulu and Lyon Arboretum co-sponsor a series of
educational classes. The classes are usually held at the Arboretum on
Friday mornings, and topics are led by experts in the field, both from the Club
and from the community. There is a fee, but members of the Arboretum
receive a discounted rate for the classes. Topics range from classes on
bromeliads to wedding decorations to Flower Arranging 101.

| Position Papers GCH members
may lobby as a group or on behalf of GCH only on those subjects on which
we have position papers. Currently, we have position papers on the
brown tree snake and one supporting the intent and purpose of The Alien
Species Prevention and Enforcement Act. Another position paper
is not included here. |
