Cut material from the exhibitor’s garden to be arranged in a container
supplied by the Committee. To be judged: 50 points cultural perfection;
35 points variety; 10 points distinction; 5 points Key card required.

Unlimited Entries
One or more Dwarf Pomegranate plants to be exhibited in a standard terracotta
container not to exceed 8” in diameter.
Class V. Dynasties A Plant Family 6 Entries
Three to five different genera of the same plant family. To be exhibited in
separate containers of the exhibitor’s choice, none of which may exceed 10”
in diameter. Key card required.
Class VI. A Merchant’s Dream Bromeliad Unlimited Entries
To be exhibited in a standard terracotta container not to exceed 10” in diameter

Class VII. An Anticipated Journey A Propagation Challenge Unlimited
Entries
A. Celosia cristata var. plumose, Feathered amaranth - propagated from
seed. To be exhibited in a standard terracotta container not to exceed
6” in diameter.
B. Morus alba ‘Nigrobacca’ Mulberry - propagated from cutting. To be
exhibited in a standard terracotta container not to exceed 8” in diameter.
Propagation method, dates and growing conditions to be detailed on the
Entry card.
Class VIII. Shangri-la A Miniature Garden 6 Entries
Exhibitors’ own image of Shangri-la. Container to be supplied by the
Committee.
To be judged: 40 points cultural perfection; 35 points scale, balance and
design; 15 points suitability and compatibility of plant material; 10 points.
Key card required.
Class IX. The Yin and The Yang A Horticultural Interpretation 12 Entries
The twelve animals of the Chinese Zodiac to be exhibited in a hexagonal frame
distributed by the Committee. Predominately rooted plant material.
Accessories permitted.
To be judged: 80 points cultural perfection; 15 points suitability and
compatibility of plant material; 5 points Key card required.
Class X. Antiquities Par Unlimited Entries
To be exhibited in a container of the exhibitor’s choice.
A. Owned by the exhibitor no less than 6 months; no more than 3 years
B. Owned by the exhibitor 3 years or more
C. Blue ribbon beauties from former The Garden Club of Honolulu major
