Recipe for Fall Foliage Centerpieces

Different colors in an arrangement send out different messages.  The fall colors of oranges and browns evoke a feeling of warmth, friendliness, and happiness.  These colors also signify the beginning of fall.

There are three things to consider when creating a floral design:

1.    Look at the space where the floral arrangement will be placed.
Consider the scale and proportions
Color and scheme
Contemporary or traditional?
Round or rectangular table?
Tall or low arrangement?
2. Consider what accessories you have at your disposal.
Budget
Table linens
Containers, vases, vessels, baskets, etc.
3. Decide on the atmosphere you are trying to create.
Casual vs. formal
Romantic, fun, holiday, etc.
Once you have decided on the above . . .
Gather all your supplies . . . scissors, clippers, wires, etc.
Prep your flowers
Go for it!  Let your creative juices flow.  Be creative.
